First Nations employment

Halfway River Frost prides itself in a proven track record of employment and capacity building of Halfway River First Nation members. At our current project located at Site C we have employed a total of 21 First Nation Persons for a total of 10000 man hours.

New Operator training

Understanding the importance of building capacity at higher levels and developing transferable skills, we promote skill development in many ways. Through support and mentoring of Halfway River members, our program of new operator training has trained and qualified 12 persons of Halfway River First Nation origin in equipment operator positions.
